Members of Kent Kampers meet the third weekend of each month.  We camp the months of April - November.  During winter months we have indoor meetings either at restaurants or at the homes of members.

April is usually our volunteer weekend to give back to the community.  We have done roadside trash pickup, painting of buildings at State Parks including a variety of other volunteer activities.  We also recycle aluminum cans to raise money for Habitat for Humanity.

Our campouts are normally within a one hundred-mile range of Dover, DE.  We frequently camp at state parks in Delaware or Maryland.  During our campouts our members enjoy various activities from cards, to games, to kayaking and hiking.  It is tradition for us to enjoy a pot luck snack on Friday night, potluck dinner on Saturday and pot luck breakfast on Sunday morning.  Our members include retirees and working folks. 

The year of 2011 Kent Kampers celebrated the 35th anniversary of existence with a reunion of current and former members.

April 2007 at Killen's Pond

We had a great weekend April 2007 at Killen's Pond. The weather was wonderful. Our volunteer activity of painting a building in the water park.

Kent Kampers met at Suicide Bridge in October to celebrate its 35^th Anniversary, and here’s the photo to prove it. Also, we elected Ann Moore as VP and other officers remain the same.
